About Independence Online:

The roots of Independence Online go back to the Independent Living Movement, when Benedict Schwartz helped establish Connecticut's first Independent Living Center in 1976. In 1982 he was hired by Cornell University to begin developing the second Independent Living Simulation along with ILRU of Houston Texas. Benedict began Dayspring Software to develop programs that would help centers.

Upon his retirement, Adage Source, Inc. was formed to take over the Independent Living department and development of Independence Online, with the help of over 15 CILS and the nearly three decades of experience Benedict left behind.

Adage Source is inspired by and committed to our users needs. Our goal is to constantly offer the best support, while giving our users control and flexibility over their data and reporting with easy to use programs. We strive to cultivate our software into what you want it to be!

The entirety of IOnline was created with the collaboration of 15 CILS, the Virginia SILC and over 30 years of experience, going back to the Independent Living Movement.

We strive to give Centers what they want and need. IOnline is constantly taking the advice and suggestions of it's users so that our program evolves along with centers.
