Our Team

Adage Source is a family-owned and operated business that originated in 1976 with a management solution that was simple and individual.  Founder Benedict Schwartz helped establish Connecticut’s first Independent Living Center and the programs that would help this center and others to manage their data.  After developing the second Independent Living Simulation in Houston, he started Dayspring Software and continued to work with Independent Living Centers.  After Benedict’s retirement in 2005, his son, Nathaniel, and the employees of Dayspring Software created Adage Source.  The company has continued to focus on the business that built its foundation – customized solutions for non-profit organizations.

The team of developers have taken Non-Profit Management software to the next level, using Adage Source’s proprietary Design-a-Database product.  This allows us to rapidly develop custom databases at a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the time of other management systems.  Our newest products for non-profit organizations promise to be both value-driven and results-oriented. 

Our developers wrote the first credit card transaction software, created in 1997, the first online loyalty program implemented throughout South America, and the first web-based management software for the Centers for Independent Living in 2005, called Independence Online. In 2012, Adage Source released Design-a-Database, an original, advanced database-building platform that allows us to rapidly develop customized databases at a fraction of the cost.  Today, our software and data management systems are used throughout the world by large and small businesses, non-profit organizations and rehabilitative services.  Our clients include Centers for Independent Living, Brain Injury Centers, Aging Centers, other non-profits, and small businesses – all who need flexible, expandable management solutions and customized, accurate, reporting.
